Subsection 1.6 Platforms

Courseworks
The central repository for course information will be the Courseworks (aka Canvas) site, accessed through https://courseworks2.columbia.edu/. Students are expected to check this for information specific to their section, up-to-date assignments---including material separate from the text---as well as the official gradebook.
Gradescope
We employ an online grading system called Gradescope. This expedites and anonymizes the grading process and keeps all assignments well organized. You will be automatically enrolled, and the link can be accessed through Courseworks.
Ed Discussions
Ed Discussions is an online discussion board for all issues related to content and logistics for the course. This is also the principal conduit for announcements. Be sure your notification settings are set appropriately.
